There was a brush fire that burned through our future area of houses. There was not any huge damage. It actually burned off all the tall grass and left us with larger shrubs and trees.
The grass was already getting green from some recent days of rain, so the fire burned off all the dead grass stems and left us with green grass clumps that are around 15cm tall. Fun to be able to easily walk the area but in another month or two everything will be green again!
